It was a perfect stay, excellent place. The staff were affable and polite, and the atmosphere was quiet, mainly due to the staff.

The location is great, close to downtown and the train station, and the room we had was spacious, quiet, and had a kitchenette.

We greatly enjoyed the triple room which was good-sized and well-equipped with a kitchenette.

There was nothing I didn't like.

My purpose of travel was to visit the Pompei roman ruins and Area Domus was the perfect base. The hotel is located close to the town center and within walking distance of the ruins. Despite the language barrier, the staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, with a separate clean bathroom. The free breakfast was a nice touch, and there was no queue for the bathroom. The family-run hotel had great hosts who were extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist. The family room had a stunning balcony with views of Mount Vesuvius. it was a great value for money with good parking facilities.

The rooms at Area Domus are so cozy and inviting, I instantly felt at home. The flat-screen TV in my room was a nice touch, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring Pompei. Plus, the private bathroom was clean and convenient for me as a vegetarian/vegan guest.

While I enjoyed the other amenities in my room, I personally found the presence of a dishwasher a bit unnecessary for my stay. But hey, to each their own!
